This patient-led event invites Zebras, Non-Zebras, their families, and Clinicians/Providers in our community to come and H-E-A-R each other.
H – Hear our words AND our bodies
A – Advocate for ourselves, for our families, for others
E – Educate those who help us and Encourage them to listen
R – Redeem our experiences with Joy and Community
“Zebra Heard” is a regularly occurring gathering of public Umi events to honor, represent, and thrive with the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder community. Guest speakers have included mothers, advocates, veterans, and more.
Come hear their stories. Come bring your own!
We will have open-mic time for anyone who wishes to share.
